The United Nations Emergency Summit is taking place for the first time in the history of United Nations. The UNES is a ‘constant crisis committee’ which implies that it has a constant in flow of updates regarding its agenda. 
The crisis and updates may range from a general situation regarding an act of piracy, or a terrorism threat or it may concern global peace.

Chairperson's Address

Delegates,

 

I am Amritansh Dayal, and I am proud to say that I will be your chair for the United Nations Emergency Summit for the first Daly-Emerald Model United Nations Conference 2015.

I have been to four MUNs before as a delegate and this will be the first MUN that I will be chairing. I am expecting a committee as intense and exciting as one would expect from a top secret meeting of world leaders. I believe we will all learn something and get a great experience from this MUN. 

I have high hopes for the delegates who are a part of my committee as I expect them to make this committee more than just another MUN, I want this to be an once-in-a-lifetime experience and I will do my best to make sure it is so for you. I expect each and every one of you to be everything that a world leader should be. But don’t stress it; even the greatest of men are men, and only waiting to be surpassed. That being said, I cannot wait to meet all of you and will be waiting eagerly to see how the new minds challenge the mind boggling issue that we will face: The ISIS Crisis.
