Chairperson's Address

Dear Delegates,

Hello, and welcome to DEMUN’15!

My name is Rishabh Shrimal and I will be chairing the General Assembly sixth committee (Legal).
The topic chosen for the legal committee are ‘Reforms of the United Nations and ‘Territorial Disputes of the Arctic Sea’. Both of these topics are complex and involve many contradictory forces. Even after being discussed extensively in the United Nations there has been no conclusion that has been reached.

I am confident that by working together and with a fresh perspective we can reach to feasible and comprehensive solutions. I look forward to the creative solutions that you come up with in the committee.
As your chairperson, I have a few expectations. Come prepared and act as responsible delegates who treat the issues at hand with necessary seriousness. I expect you to be aware of the responsibility that comes with representing a country’s interests and ideologies and most importantly, be respectful towards your fellow delegates and stick to the International Code of Conduct.
In case you have any queries feel free to contact me via an e-mail to unga6.demun@gmail.com

Yours Sincerely,
Rishabh Shrimal
Chairperson
